Session Description
Attendees of the AUCD 2016 Conference are invited to be some of the first in the nation to attend a free screening of "Valuing Lives: Wolf Wolfensberger and the Principle of Normalization," a film documenting the social paradigm shift triggered by Wolf Wolfensberger, a professor and change agent who, in the early 1970s, popularized and expanded the principle of normalization of people with disabilities into a framework for community inclusion. This film was produced by the RTC on Community Living at the Institute for Community Integration at the University of Minnesota and the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University.
