In Massachusetts, six postsecondary education partnerships between community colleges and neighboring school districts offer students with intellectual/developmental disabilities the opportunity to include college as part of their transition education. Students, families, college and school personnel, and state leaders discuss the impact this opportunity has had on young people with severe disabilities, the college community and the state.
